Stress, Food and your Skin

We all know that stress can directly affect our skin and you probably know that what you eat can as well.  But did you know that only certain areas of our face are affected?

When you eat past 8pm at night or over indulge on a regular basis, you may find that you breakout between your eyes and across your forehead.  If you tend to break out along your jaw line, it is more likely that you are stressed in some way.  Caffeine and alcohol will affect the hydration levels in your skin, as will air conditioning/heating.  The best way to combat this is to reduce your consumption of alcohol or coffee to just one per day, drink plenty of water and look into a hydrating serum or booster to protect your skin from external elements.
